“Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches.
Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit.
For apart from me you can do nothing.
(John 15:5 NLT)
This scripture is a very clear affirmation of our identity and a directive to us for daily life. An encouragement and a challenging instruction at the same time.
The Amplified Bible translation puts that verse this way:
"I am the Vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in Me and I in him bears much fruit, for [otherwise] apart from Me [that is, cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing."
What does it look like to live in vital union with the Lord?
What do the fruits of intimacy with the Lord look like?
How do we maintain this heart posture?
Is it really possible to abide in God?
What happens when we mess up?
These are some of the questions that many struggle with as they pursue a closer walk with the Lord. The aim of this podcast is to encourage and stir up a deeper walk of intimacy with the Lord. It is possible to live aware of Him and follow His ways; by His grace, with His word and through His Spirit.
Let's go on this journey of growth, true friendship and intimacy with our Lord Jesus Christ, together.
