A MONTHLY DISCIPLESHIP Series with Valerie Elyott

We are all called to be disciples of Jesus  Christ. Discipleship is not only for new or young believers. It is a  lifestyle of growing in the Lord, by remaining a student of His word and  His Spirit.

These  sessions will explore our many layers, to help us locate ourselves in  the truths we find in Jesus, through the word and by His Spirit. He is  our example of how to live a righteous, consecrated and fulfilled life  on earth. We all have a purpose and destiny to fulfil. Finding and  embracing ourselves in Jesus is the way to discover and experience  fullness of life!

Let  us get to know Jesus in His humanity, as well as His divinity, to  understand who we are as humans who are united in spirit with God.

Seeing Jesus in the context of our everyday life will enable us to:

• recognise who we truly are in Christ
• embrace our true capacity for life; in spirit, soul and body
• grow in the fruit of the Spirit
• grow in understanding of the scriptures and ways of God
• grow in godly wisdom
• live in the victory we have in Christ
• maintain our relationships from a godly perspective
• embrace the gifts of the Holy Spirit in us and learn how to function in them.
• rise up to what we are called by God to do.
